One of my favorite verses in the Tanach comes from Psalms 119: 9,10

“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!”

I have wanted it written in Hebrew so I could have it framed and mount it on my wall. Well as we were painting the school this summer I met Oren. At the time he was printing the Hebrew text that goes inside of mezuzahs. I asked him if he would write Psalms 119:9,10 for me. He asked how big I wanted it, I told him and the next day he had it ready for me. I will now have it matted and framed.

Let me digress a bit and tell you about Oran. Oran is 43, was diagnosed with cancer four years ago and won the fight with it. Two years ago his son was in a car accident , his son and was killed.
With his struggle and the added expense he incurred with the cancer and the loss of his son he has been in a hard place for a while.

I asked Oren if he would be willing to hand print other verses in Hebrew from the Tanach for people if they wanted them, he said he would. I asked him how much it would cost to have one done the same size as mine, he said about 200 shekels, or about $60 USD. (plus postage)

So… if there is a verse you would like hand printed in Hebrew so you too can have it matted and framed please contact me here at stewart@hopeforsderot.com or you can click here and we will get that going for you.

All proceeds will go to Oren. It is a wonderful way to help someone who is struggling, finically, physical , emotionally while getting your favorite Tanach verse beautiful hand printed in Hebrew.
