As the end of 2012 draws to an end I would like to thank everyone who forwarded this news letter to a friend, said a prayer for us in time of relative calm and in the midst of escalated rocket fire at us from the Gaza terrorists or sent a donation this past year.

I wish I could report there was no longer a need for Hope For Sderot to keep its doors open, but I can’t. In fact the need for your continued support, prayers and getting the word out about the situation here in Sderot is even more important today than ever before.

We have come to a point where we are now turning people away that are coming for help because we just don’t have enough to give to any more people. In recent months we have seen an increase of people asking for help each week and it breaks our hearts to have to say “I’m sorry, we can’t help you now”.

We presently have enough supplies on the shelves to make it through the first two weeks of January 2013. We need your help, prayers and support more now than ever before.

With the New Year coming upon us, I wonder if you would like to make one last donation to Hope For Sderot before this year is gone. Maybe if you are going to celebrate the New Year’s you could remember us with a gift comparable to a few bags of chips or a few bottles of cola or even the a bottle of champagne.

If everyone who reads this would be gracious enough to help us with just a small gift we would get over the hump for January and even maybe be able to help a few more people than the 441 we are helping now.

Unfortunately we have no big corporate sponsors’, But what we do have is a group of loving hearts, people like you, who have heard of struggle of the people of Sderot and our work to try to bring some hope to them, hence, Hope For Sderot.

Would you like to become part of that group? Your year-end gift will be appreciated more than you will ever know. You can click here to go to the Hope For Sderot donate page. There you will also find our mailing address as well.

May you have a happy and healthy and a bright New Year. Thank you in advance for your thoughts, prayers and support.
